Stevens County Democratic Party May Meeting
The Stevens County Democratic Party will meet for their regular monthly meeting Monday, May 21st at Geronimo's in Springdale at 6:00 P.M. for a social time with the meeting starting at 7:00 P.M. The guest speaker will be Mary Ann Murphy, formerly of the Children's Advocacy Center. She has long experience in this field, and will speak on how our state budget cuts are affecting children's services in Washington state.

Annual Stevens Co. and 7th LD Picnic
The annual picnic for the Stevens County Democrats will be July 29, Lunch at 12:00, at the Chewelah City Park in front of the Main Stage. Prominent Candidates have been invited to speak. Rich Cowan, 5th CD Candidate against Cathy McMorris will be there. Jay Inslee and Maria Cantwell have been invited but haven’t confirmed. This year we will have a for donation BBQ Luncheon instead of a potluck and we will have a silent auction if you have any items you would like to donate.
NE WA Fair and Democratic Fair Booth
The NE WA Fair will be Aug. 23-26 at the Fairgrounds in Colville. We will have an outside booth for more visibility, and we need to have someone in that booth from 9 to 8 every day (Sunday until 3). We need signs and volunteers.
